Brooklyn, NY – Senior guard Kristen Johnston (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) scored a team high 11 points on Saturday against Medgar Evers and had eight against Yeshiva on Sunday and was named to the all-tournament team at the Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial Tournament held at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY this past weekend.

 

Freshman guard Sam Delles (Tully, NY/Tully) has continued to provide a spark for the Privateers, scoring 10 points and grabbing eight rebounds in the consolation game against Yeshiva and eight points and rebounds in the loss to Medgar Evers on Saturday. Junior forward Jeanette Golson (Brooklyn, NY/Transit Tech) dominated the boards for the Privateers, pulling down 18 on the weekend, she also contributed 10 points.

 

Maritime returns to action Monday, December 11, when they host Briarcliffe College for a 5:00 p.m. game.
