Men's Basketball Skyline Semifinal Matchup At Old Westbury Postponed To Friday Due To Inclement Weather

THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Feb. 25, 2010) – Due to the inclement weather expected in the New York Metropolitan area on Thursday, the Maritime men's basketball Skyline Tournament semifinal game at Old Westbury originally scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight has been postponed to Friday, Feb. 26. The game time will remain at 7 p.m. at the Panthers’ Clark Athletic Center.
The No. 4-seed Privateers enter the contest with a 19-7 record (14-6 Skyline) after defeating No. 5-seed Farmingdale State on Tuesday, 69-57, at the Riesenberg Hall Gymnasium. Old Westbury is the Skyline Conference regular season champion and come into the game after a first-round bye with a 19-6 record (17-3 Skyline). The two teams had split the regular season series. The Rams were victorious at home back on Dec. 1, 71-68, but Maritime took the next meeting, 73-68, at home on Jan. 21.
