Saturday's Mount Saint Mary Doubleheader Moved To Maritime
THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (April 16, 2010) – The Maritime baseball doubleheader against Skyline-opponent Mount Saint Mary, originally scheduled to be played at Mount Saint Mary tomorrow, April 17, will now be held at Reinhart Field on the campus of Maritime College. The decision was made due to field maintenance issues at Dutchess Stadium, where the games were supposed to be played, as well as the impending weather.
The Privateers (8-15, 4-6 Skyline) will be the visiting team in both contests, with the nine-inning first game scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. The Blue Knights come into the doubleheader with a 6-16 record and are 5-5 in Skyline action which is currently a game ahead of Maritime in the fifth-place in the conference.
