        THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Oct. 2, 2012) – The Maritime men's lacrosse team will be hosting a free lacrosse clinic at Reinhart Field on campus this Sunday, Oct. 7, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The clinic is open to boys of any skill level and will be run by the Maritime men's lacrosse coaching staff and current team members. The focus of the clinic will be on shooting, footwork and stick skills.
 
        Following the clinic, there will be three round-robin scrimmages between Maritime, the North Shore Lacrosse Club and the Rutgers University club team. Both the clinic and the scrimmages are free to the public.
 
        The Maritime men's lacrosse program is asking anyone attending the clinic or scrimmages to bring a piece of used equipment to donate, but it is not required to participate. The donated equipment will be used to help equip service men and women who want to continue to play lacrosse while they serve our country. The donations will be collected by the Operation Baggataway group.
