      NEW YORK (Jan. 6, 2014) – The Skyline Conference announced the weekly awards for men's basketball on Monday and Maritime junior guard
Sean Corley (Harlem, N.Y./Thurgood Marshall Academy) (Harlem, N.Y./Thurgood Marshall) earned a spot on the weekly honor roll. It was the third time this season that Corley earned this accolade. The honor comes after his performances in the Privateers' two games last week.

      Corley recorded a team-high 12.0 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game and five assists in the two contests. This past Saturday at Bard College, he registered his second double-double of the season, leading Maritime with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

      Throughout the season thus far, the 5-10, 175-pounder ranks first in the Skyline Conference in steals with 2.78 per game, second with 5.56 assists per game and fifth with a 1.79 assist-to-turnover ratio. As a team, the Privateers rank first in the conference with 7.56 three pointers made per game, second with a +1.11 turnover margin and third with 8.22 steals per game and a .324 three-point field goal percentage.

      Maritime returns to action tomorrow, Jan. 7, with a non-conference road game at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, N.Y. Tipoff is slated for 5 p.m. at the Gryphons' Noyes Court in the Campbell Sports Center.
