Bronxville, NY – Senior guard Kristen Johnston (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) had a team high of 13 points and seven rebounds in the final game of her collegiate career, however her efforts wouldn’t be enough to earn a win in her finale as Maritime was defeated by the College of New Rochelle, 70-40 in women’s basketball action at the Campbell Sports Center in Bronxville, NY.

Brooklyn, NY – Senior guard Kristen Johnston (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) scored a team high 11 points on Saturday against Medgar Evers and had eight against Yeshiva on Sunday and was named to the all-tournament team at the Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial Tournament held at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY this past weekend.

Castine, ME – Freshman guard Sam Delles (Tully, NY/Tully) scored 12 points, had eight rebounds and was named to the All-Tournament team at the Maritime Classic where the Privateers competed against Maine Maritime and California Maritime on November 17 and 18 in Castine, ME.

Throggs Neck, NY – Sophomore center Kimberly Lund (North Rockland, NY/North Rockland) scored a season high 21 points along with seven rebounds in a tough loss to Saint Joseph’s-Patchogue in the Privateers final game of the regular season. Lund, who only played the second half of the semester, finished the year with 117 points averaging 10.7 a game.

Benjamin Pearce
Men's Lacrosse
Maritime College freshman Benjamin Pearce won all three events he swam against Old Westbury Tuesday night: touching first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:22.46,
then the 100-yard free in 1:00.93, beating out his next closest competitor by almost 6 seconds in the short race, and then capping the night off by leading off the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 26.32, which led to a team-victory in 1:44.49.

Women's Swimming
Maritime College junior Caroline Hickey captured the top spot in two races in a meet against Skyline Conference opponents Old Westbury and St. Joseph’s Tuesday night. She won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:34.26, five seconds faster than the next swimmer. She then won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:10.41. Hickey was also part of a 200-yard medley relay team that came in second with a time of 2:14.64.
